Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta was labeled as day-to-day with a shoulder injury by head coach Dan Campbell Monday.

'We don't feel like this is something that's going to be a long, nagging injury. I think we'll get through it. I'm hopeful this week, but I can't say that he's questionable.'Campbell was somewhat coy in his comments, but it's evident Detroit doesn't think LaPorta should be out for an extended period of time.
The latest update on the tight end indicates Campbell is sticking with the day-to-day label. The title can be somewhat alarming for Lions fans as Detroit has put on a spectacular performance in the first half of the season.As the week progresses, it's likely the team will have a better picture of whether LaPorta will play in Week 11 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.The Lions currently lead the NFC North with an 8-1 record.
