Both sides were missing key players: Lance Franklin, Callum Mills and Isaac Heeney were all out for the Swans, while Dayne Zorko, Hugh McCluggage and Darcy Gardiner were out for the Lions, with Daniel Rich and Jack Gunston omitted. “We’ve got to get that better than what we’ve been doing,” Swans coach John Longmire conceded after the game.
