The Lions have made just three changes to their starting lineup that will look to boost hopes of a top-four finish against the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.

Two of those changes come in the front row, as young loosehead prop Rhynardt Rijnsburger and hooker Morne Brandon, both 22 years old, are promoted from the bench.

As a result, Ruan Dreyer, who started at loosehead in the win over Western Province in Athlone, shifts to tighthead. The only other change sees Manuel Rass return at outside centre, after missing the game against WP due to an illness. Star loose forward Emmanuel Tshituka is back on a bench that also features veteran hooker Jaco Visagie and fullback Andries Coetzee.
