Lionesses captain Leah Williamson was photographed beaming as she was presented with an OBE by the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle, recognising her services to football

Lionesses captain Leah Williamson beamed as she was made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by the Prince of Wales at Windsor Castle.

Leah looked stunning for the event as she donned a grey check blazer with matching trousers. She paired the look with some stylish black shoes and gold earrings. The honour comes after England took home the trophy at the 2022 Euros after beating Germany 2-1 in the final at Wembley. The winning goal scored by Chloe Kelly in extra time meant this was England's first major football win since the men's team won in the 1996 World Cup.

The dedicated captain said: "The legacy of this tournament is a change in society. We’ve brought people together and got people to this game."
