Following initial criticism from Chester Bennington's son, Jaime Bennington, Linkin Park's new vocalist, Mike Shinoda addressed fans and launched the 'From Zero World Tour', receiving positive feedback from Jaime after a performance at The Forum in Los Angeles.

Armstrong, who quickly became a polarizing figure in the Linkin Park fan community, posted an image to Instagram last Monday.

"I’m so beyond excited for this next chapter!! The love and support does not go unnoticed. See you all soon," Armstrong wrote in the post's caption.the reaction comes after Chester's son Jaime Bennington criticized Linkin Park founding member Mike Shinoda, saying he "betrayed the trust loaned to you by decades of fans.

"She did a good job. The guys really did a good job. I can be understanding of the art. Honestly, after that, I'm kind of excited to see them more in a way," Jaime Bennington said, per Loudwire. Linkin Park launched its "From Zero World Tour" at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles last Tuesday. During the performance, founding member Mike Shinoda spoke to fans about starting a "new chapter" with Armstrong and Colin Brittain, who replaced drummer Rob Bourdon.
