Man United got off to an atrocious start against Nottingham Forest but came back to beat Steve Cooper's side 3-2
Match of the Day host Gary Lineker has stood by his verdict on Manchester United despite the Reds coming from behind to beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 at Old Trafford.
The advantage was doubled on four minutes when Willy Boly turned in a Forest free-kick. Following Forest's second, an unimpressed Lineker sarcastically tweeted: "Manchester United seem to have solved their problems." Up stepped Fernandes to score and seal a brilliant turnaround. At full-time, some United fans may have been wondering if Lineker had regretted his earlier tweet.
