EXCLUSIVE: ITV Loose Women star Linda Robson opens up candidly to OK! about her marriage split from husband Mark Dunford, dating in her sixties and Loose Women 'feuds'

As she unveils her new memoir, Truth Be Told: Tales From A Baggy Mouth, full of fascinating stories about her life and career to date, national treasure Linda Robson opens up about it all in a glamorous shoot with OK! magazine.

When the Loose Women and Birds Of A Feather star meets OK ! for an exclusive photoshoot, she’s warm, honest and funny, putting everyone at ease with her witty one-liners in that unmistakable Cockney accent. As she asks for another brew , she speaks for the first time about her impending divorce from Mark and admits that there is “sadness”, but she seems quietly confident about this new chapter.

“I’ve been sad about it, of course I have. But we had two lovely children together. But they’re all grown up, living their own lives now.“I’m in a really good place. Work’s good, I feel like I have a lot to talk about. was therapeutic, especially talking about my mental health battles.”“I’m getting a smaller house, near Lauren – a two-bedroom, so I can have her girls come and stay with me,” she says.

As Linda poses for our camera , she also entertains the crew with her humour – and the odd showbiz tidbit. Pausing for a moment, she says, “I gave my family the worst time… I still find it hard to forgive myself for that. I’d always been the ‘strong’ one. Suddenly, they all had to look after me. “Another time, this lovely nurse took me for a walk and I went into M&S at Marylebone station. I had no money but I asked for a bottle of rum, necked it right there and then, and the security guard was wrestling it off me. I was in a bad way. I was on suicide watch.

That’s Linda – never anything but honest, to a fault. It’s one of the reasons she’s so popular on Loose Women , though Linda says she’s not sure what her appeal is. Interviewing Latino superstar Ricky Martin in his hotel bed and teaching crooner Michael Bublé Cockney were highlights. She also laughs as she remembers her “Access No Areas” reports from the Cannes Film Festival where she was challenged with attending a Hollywood party and finding a yacht where Loose Women could film live the next day. Unsurprisingly, she managed both.
