Cyber Ramodisa, 36, a ward committee member in the Greater Letaba municipality and also a member of the local community policing forum, was charged with fraud and contravention of the disaster management regulations on Friday. He was granted R2,000 bail for allegedly selling fake travel permits forAccording to two residents who wished to remain anonymous, Ramodisa was nabbed at his home at Makgakgapatse village outside Giyani in Limpopo.

Giyani police spokesperson Ridgewell Rikhotso said:"It is alleged that the suspect was arrested after a driven operation by police following a tip-off from community members that there was a councillor selling permits."
