British singer Lily Allen revealed on the 'Miss Me?' podcast that she's dealing with mental health challenges and struggles to remember to eat. Allen explained that her therapist noticed a disconnect between her mental state and her eating habits, noting that she had been experiencing these issues for around three years. She also wondered if her ADHD diagnosis might be a contributing factor.
Lily Allen has revealed that she is struggling with her mental health and often forgets to eat.
“I don’t think that I lie in therapy, but I do often not talk about things that I should be talking about,” said Allen. “It’s not intentional. So, like, for instance, you know I’ve been going through a tough time over the last few months and my eating has become a real issue.” Allen said that she wonders if her ADHD, which she talked about being diagnosed with in 2023, is a contributing factor. “I don’t link a lot of things,” she said. “My body and my brain are two very separate things to me, but I know a lot of people feel those two things are very connected to each other. With me, it’s very different, I spend a lot of time in my head and not a lot of time thinking about my body.
