A German electric aviation company, Lilium, is preparing to make a bold entry into the United States market with its Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing aircraft. Lilium acknowledges this high cost but emphasizes that it's targeting a premium market segment where convenience and sustainability outweigh the expense. “This provides a more sustainable and actually more economical way for them to get to their aircraft,” Broffman added.However, the company envisions the Jet as an eco-friendly solution for last-mile transportation that efficiently connects travelers from their homes or offices to their private jets, enhancing overall convenience.
The new partnership signed will see EMCJET become the exclusive dealer for Lilium in Texas until 2030. While the initial focus is on key cities in Texas like Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas, the Lilium Jet will soon be available countrywide.
