While he experiences frustration in both his professional and love life due to writer's block and a recent breakup with girlfriend Ally , Dave relies on his old crew -- his hype man GaTa, manager and roommate Mike and childhood pal/producer/DJ Elz -- and new friends to get him through the process of putting out his debut album while navigating the music industry as a signed artist.
While the first season featured an array of A-list guest stars ranging from Justin Bieber to Kourtney Kardashian, the second season comes in with its own set of heavy-hitters. Kardashian's younger sister Kendall Jenner and Bieber's wife Hailey can't stop gushing about hanging out with Dave at Benny Blanco's house in the preview clip, while he matches with Doja Cat on a dating app and tries to demonstrate retro-style dribbling to six-time NBA MVP Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
