A light winter storm is predicted to hit Philadelphia this weekend, bringing a mixture of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Meteorologists say the storm will likely start around sunset Saturday and end as plain rain by Sunday morning. While the storm is expected to bring minimal accumulation, it could create slippery road conditions. Another storm system is expected to move through the region later in the week.
"If you like winter storms then this may be as good as it gets,” said a meteorologist of what is predicted in the coming days.
This time around, however, neither schools nor a peak morning commute will be affected.
