The shooting happened Tuesday night on the east side , ironically, in a parking lot that a teen community group uses for outreach.
"We're always concerned that teens who live in this community are at risk, so we're doing everything we can to give them tools," 'All THAT' executive director Danella Hicks told WSYX. They offer and teach tools that are basically survival skills, such as catching the bus and health and wellness. 'All THAT' stands for "Teens Hopeful About Tomorrow." The program typically holds group sessions where youth can gather.The group usually meets in a parking lot on Elaine Road. It just so happens that Tuesday night, a teen was shot multiple times in the same parking lot.
The police have not released much information about what happened, but we know that the teen is expected to be okay.was shot in the head during a drive-by.long road to recovery."We know that there is a gun violence issue in our community, and we are trying to make sure we connect our students to the police so they aren't afraid.
