Liev Schreiber is helping out Ukrainian refugees in Poland by trying his hand at whipping up a traditional Passover meal big enough to feed thousands.
on Schreiber's Instagram page, upon their arrival in Poland by train, Ukrainian refugees will be given the opportunity to eat a hot, home-cooked meal after going through customs or while waiting to sign paperwork. Not only will they get to eat some of the actor's brisket, the volunteer mentioned that there will also be a panini press available, as well as hot cocoa, and more.
Schreiber's work for World Central Kitchen began on Monday when he cooked up a vat of borscht that will eventually serve 1,500 people, sharing a photo of the huge tub of soup. “Day one in Prezmsyl Poland just beyond the Ukrainian border,” he explained. “World Central Kitchen continues to be the rockstar NGO serving and feeding those who have lost nearly everything.
