The first 100 people in line will receive gift cards ranging in value from $5 to $100.

The chain announced the store at 5125 Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township will open June 12 with a ribbon cutting and gift card giveaway.

The stores, which on average are about 15,000 square feet, sell hundreds of organic and gluten-free products, as well as specialty items such as hard-to-find cheeses, specialty sauces and cured meats. Lidl also carries a rotating selection of non-food items such as fitness gear, small kitchen appliances, toys and outdoor furniture.

About 20 new jobs were created at the store and Lidl said it offers benefits including healthcare for full-and part-time positions.
