The President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina says the Bank is mobilizing 3.5 to 5 billion dollars for the Liberty Corridor linking Liberia and the Republic of Guinea.

Nairobi — The President of the Africa n Development Bank , Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina says the Bank is mobilizing 3.5 to 5 billion dollars for the Liberty Corridor linking Liberia and the Republic of Guinea .

Another was the Bank's engagement with partners of the Africa Investment Forum to mobilize $15.6 billion of investment commitment towards the development of the Lagos-Abidjan corridor. The resources being raised by the Bank for the Liberty Corridor Project will heavily impact the consortium of investors led by HPX and Guma Group which are champions of the undertaking.

It is anticipated that the Government of Liberia will generate resources in tax revenue from this project when completed. As a multiuser facility, it is expected to serve as a harbinger for regional trade between Liberia, Guinea and land-locked Mali.There was a problem processing your submission.
