Mark Speakman says the Liberals have left New South Wales in a “pretty good shape” as the incoming state Liberal leader says he is “confident” in leading a “united team” towards the 2027 state election.
“We transformed infrastructure, roads, schools, hospitals, public transport, police stations – right across New South Wales in the last twelve years,” he told Sky News Australia.
“Not only are we looking to be a competitive, sensible, credible, alternative government in 2027 – but to do our best to be constructive and to help shape policy and outcomes in the parliament in the meantime.”
