Libbok inspires Stormers to another URC final
The Capetonians, who scored six tries to the Irish visitors’ four, were last night waiting to find out who they will face in the final on May 27, and whether they will travel to Dublin in Ireland or host the match in Cape Town.In Cape Town, the first half was gripping as Connacht dominated possession and applied pressure on the hosts.
The Stormers added three tries to two by the spirited Connacht outfit in a hard-fought second half and this sealed the victory, sending them to their second successive URC final. The Stormers fought back strongly, with wing Angelo Davids touching down in the 16th minute from a great cross-kick by Libbok, who added two more and a penalty goal soon after to take a two-point lead.
