Former Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher is partnering with fellow Manchester music legend John Squire of Stone Roses, for his latest albumand John have been friends for years but things really started to take shape following his sell-out gigs at Knebworth last summer.RUN-DERWALL“There has been talk of doing a handful of live shows as well around the release, but nothing is set in stone with that.”
Asked whether they would be working together, Liam said: “I’m definitely going to do summat at some point. There’s talk about summat. Maybe. But no rush. He’s my man, I love him. So if he’s got any tunes that need singing, I’m the boy, mate.”Liam announced a UK arena tour to celebrate 30 years of the Oasis debut album Definitely Maybe.To borrow his own phrase, between his Oasis anniversary gigs and his new album with John, it looks like Liam’s 2024 will be Biblical.
