New UltraGear range set to unleash ultra high frame rates at the upcoming CES
The 27GR95QE handily ships with a remote control that includes a selection of programmable hotkeys to help you optimise it for your particular set up.
As well as being much bigger and continuing to offer new 240Hz gaming thrills if you’re lucky enough to own a PC that can unlock such searing refresh rates, the 45GR95QE is LG’s first 45-inch curved OLED gaming monitor to boast a 3,440x1440-resolution ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio. The extent of the curvature is a pretty dramatic 800R, too, enabling the ultra wide aspect ratio screen to wrap around your seating position for fuller immersion in your favourite gaming worlds.
Both new monitors seek to fit into different room set ups by supporting tilting of between -5 and 15 degrees, and swivelling through plus or minus 10 degrees. The 27GR95QE’s stand can even pivot through 90 degrees counterclockwise. Full connectivity on both screens extends to two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, one upstream 3.0 USB port, two downstream USB 3.0 ports, and the aforementioned 4-pole headphone line out.
Both monitors will available for CES visitors to ogle at booth #15501 through January 5-8, or if you’re already convinced that these monitors are the ones for you, LG has opened pre-order pages (the 27GR95QE can be ordered for $999.99
