A man who was arrested after a teenager was raped in a Leyland park yesterday, has now been bailed.
The 18-year-old suspect, from Leyland, was taken into custody after a teenage girl reported being raped in Strawberry Valley Park in Bent Lane at around 4am on Friday .
However today, Lancashire Police told the Post that the local man, arrested on suspicion of rape, had been bailed. Yesterday morning, officers taped off an area of Strawberry Valley Park whilst CSI carried out a forensic examination at the scene, but the cordon has now been removed and the park reopened to the public.
