Lexi Thompson has announced she will retire following the 2024 LPGA season. Thompson will make her 18th career start in the tournament.Thompson said she would retire full-time and told the media she would determine what tournaments she could participate in on a part-time basis in the future.

The mark was broken in 2014 when Lucy Li qualified at the age of 11.
