Lewisville police responded to a fatal shooting Friday, March 29, 2024, outside a hookah lounge in the 1600 block of South State Highway 121 Business.
A little before midnight, a 911 call reported a shooting at the Luxor Hookah Lounge in the 1600 block of South State Highway 121 Business, Lewisville police spokesman Matt Martucci said. Witnesses told officers a fight with multiple people started outside the front of the club and spilled into the parking lot, he said.
Martucci said someone began shooting during the fight in the parking lot and struck two people. Jayden Tramaine Anderson, 19, was taken to Medical City Lewisville hospital, where he died.No details about a potential suspect were immediately available. Martucci said the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no “continuing threat to the public.”Detectives are working several leads, he said.
