Lewis Hamilton has admitted that the Sao Paulo Grand Prix in 2021 was the best and “most special” race of his career.
As reported by Formula 1.com, Hamilton has recently been reflecting on his career as his 10-year mark with Mercedes is being celebrated.The British driver spoke about his admiration for Aryton Senna and how winning in his home country was special. On the victory, Hamilton said that he always wanted to be connected to Brazil. “I always have since I was a kid. I was hoping that I would lift up the nation in some way even though I wasn’t from Brazil, except now I am Brazilian”.Taking into account the circumstances of the victory, no wonder Hamilton regards it as his “best race”. It wasn’t just “special” and emotional but it was also some of Hamilton’s best driving ever.
