— Re: “’A restaurant for 2,000′ — Dedicated team whips up meals for more than 400 species every day,” April 19 Metro & Business story., for this story regarding the Dallas Zoo’s Animal Nutrition Center. I had never realized what it takes to feed 2,000-plus animals each day. The meticulous planning and execution of the meal preparation for each zoo resident, from newborns to senior citizens, is truly remarkable.
From now on, as I drink my morning coffee while reading your paper, I will always keep in mind the Animal Nutrition Center staff and their well-oiled machine keeping their charges healthy and happy.— A thank you to all the people who helped my husband when he recently fell in the men’s restroom at Central Market in Plano.
We live in such divided and difficult times now, but that day we were the recipients of such love and kindness from so many strangers. My husband broke both ankles, had surgery and is now recovering in rehab. Our blessings to this incredible group of people that came to our assistance. Angels come in many different forms.— I am a big fan of the printed newspaper, but I read it electronically. Since I am legally blind, it is nearly impossible for me to read the physical newspaper, so I have subscribed to the e-paper for many years.
I love having an exact replica of the printed paper, without the ads that appear on the normal online version. It is easy to magnify the image, print out an article and “clip out” coupons or sections of an article, which can easily be printed out or shared with others., which is a great aid to anyone who loves the traditional newspaper but has a visual disability.
