Businesses understand their parking needs today better than those who wrote parking codes six or more decades ago. Eliminating parking minimums will make housing more affordable by enabling builders to suit the needs of their tenants.Dallas needs to remain competitive. Our city is trying to evolve in the 21st century, yet parking minimums stand in the way.We can build equity in our neighborhoods. Let’s follow the lead of Austin, Minneapolis and other large cities and eliminate parking minimums.
I empathize with Dodd’s feelings, but I empathize more with the girls and women who feel the need to abort a pregnancy.It’s complicated. First, the abortions are not the killing of babies. Until birth, it is a fetus, not a baby. At conception, it is a zygote, not a baby. It isn’t until the ninth week that the embryo develops into a fetus., the American Medical Association journal, recently published that Texas leads the nation in pregnancies caused by rape .
