Readers claim Project 2025 is disavowed by the former president; are pro and con about the Electoral College; says politicans instead of campaigning so much; and don’t support Rep. Morgan Meyer.
Unfortunately, the “low information voter” will not be aware of any of this, and major media organizations are actively complicit in helping Harris and her campaign, so Democrats will be able to carry this false narrative all the way to Election Day.Imagine a volleyball match between University X and University Y. After five sets, University X had 95 points and University Y had 75 points . University X won two sets and University Y won three sets. University Y was the winner of the match.
If you are a Republican in a very blue state, or if you are a Democrat in a very red state, those votes will hardly matter in the presidential election. They will count for the state offices, but they are rendered invisible by the Electoral College.Several elections during my voting lifetime have resulted in a minority-elected president who then places hundreds of judges on the bench, including the Supreme Court. That is not democratic.
Could we the people limit the amount of time campaign ads run to just a few months before the election? Could we the people limit the amount of money donated by PACs to political candidates and instead channel those funds to vital government programs?
