The Texas Board of Pardons and Parole, having previously recommended clemency only three times while allowing 586 executions to proceed, unanimously agreed and also restored Perry’s right to own a firearm. It is worth noting that the board withdrew 25 of 67 clemency recommendations in 2021 because of “unexplained departures from its own rules.
And single mothers wouldn’t have to be evicted, as they are now 70% of the evicted population. I believe this is workable — let’s make the father pay.I have a solution for the problem of low-income, single women having babies. Provide free or low-cost birth control combined with access to abortion services, if that proves to be the best choice for the women and their families.
