We don’t need visa reform, we need immigration policies that welcome them, and provide them with a sense of opportunity and self-worth. All it requires from us is a welcoming hand and a commitment by us to treat them as important members of our society.

America’s share of older people is growing while its share of the younger generation is shrinking. Those are demographic facts that have caused economic and social trouble in other countries such as Italy.

Abbott’s fixation on building a wall has no apparent boundaries, and along with the Berlin Wall, Hadrian’s Wall and the Great China Wall, history will remember Abbott’s wall of flotsam and jetsam. Yes, Texas will have an exceptional wall, thanks to Abbott.Throughout the Biden administration’s lack of action to secure the southern border, I have been in favor of everything Gov. Greg Abbott has done.
