McKenzie does a thorough job of describing the water resource problems facing Texans, and he has suggested some good tactics for reducing the problem. His op-ed neglects to mention desalination. Texas has a vast source of water in the Gulf of Mexico, and we are pretty good at pipelines.No one solution is a complete panacea to our future water challenge, but we need to take advantage of every opportunity we have available to us. Let’s get started with desalination.
An increase is an increase and should be celebrated as progress for those students, not twisted to present as bad news where there is none.
