Love you, Dad.As we mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day, it is crucial to reflect on the immense bravery and sacrifice displayed on June 6, 1944, a day that changed the course of history. Code-named Operation Overlord, the Allied landings on the beaches of Normandy marked the start of a long and costly campaign to liberate Europe from Nazi occupation.
After reading this story regarding the Trinity Groves business development plan presented to the city of Dallas, I wonder a couple of things. Why more business space when there are so many empty and partially empty existing buildings, especially downtown? Why must there be more apartments and such in that space? Dallas has so many unoccupied apartments now, also in downtown, Uptown and then onward to the city limits. Occupancy is not at a high for apartments that rent for almost $2,000 a month.
