Letters to the Editor
Readers love the story on Jenkins handling twins; appreciate Peter Johnson’s columns; defend Colin Allred; defend Ted Cruz; and comment on the Harris-Walz campaign.
In an era when Black history is being forgotten, erased or stolen, Johnson’s perspective is particularly enlightening and serves to help preserve this important part of our history. This is not just Black history, it is American history, and Johnson was there to witness it.To answer Montes’ query as to where Colin Allred is, it’s easier to find him than Sen. Ted Cruz in an ice storm.
My husband and I thought he was very good at articulating his platform in a succinct manner without the grievance, anger and disinformation that Cruz posited the day before in Tyler.I have no problem with Sen. Ted Cruz disagreeing with leftist Democrat proposals and disagreeing with Republicans in Name Only, who traitorously vote with Democrats.
