Reading the extensive reports and watching the televised news about an ex-president whose arrogance resembles a deposed dictator makes me feel like we are now living in a developing nation.Apparently some people think the indictment of former President Donald Trump is political, a witch hunt, the politicization of the Justice Department.
Christian conservative and former Republican Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson doesn’t think Trump’s indictment is political. John Bolton, conservative and former national security adviser to Trump, doesn’t think Trump’s indictment is political. The only people making Trump’s indictment political are the very people crying that it is political. Maybe it wouldn’t be political if they would stop talking and allow the justice system and due process to run their course.The compromise of classified defense information is no laughing matter.
Republican or Democrat, there is absolutely no excuse for tossing classified documents into cardboard boxes and storing them in a bathroom or compromising sources and methods to persons having no need-to-know. Those who treat national defense information as if it was intended for their amusement or to titillate political supporters should be prosecuted to the full extent of our espionage laws.
