At the start of a new year, one reader encourages others to “seek what is right and good and perfect” much like the Magi seeking the Christ child.Now that the elections are over and Texans have clearly affirmed, once again, that they prefer Republican leadership, we can expect the Express-News to ramp up its opinion coverage against Gov. Greg Abbott.
God bless Abbott for advocating for a secure state and a safe country to live in. Also note that those bused from the border have gone willingly and peaceably.Re: “Border problem won’t be fixed at the border,” Another View, Tuesday: It would be interesting to know how the migrants bused to the vice president’s neighborhood fared and how they feel about a long, but warm, bus ride to Washington, which had temperatures in the 20s, versus remaining huddled under bridges or in tents in El Paso or Eagle Pass, which had the same temperatures just before Christmas.
Wonderful Nelson Wolff has shown us all that when that star of perfection is in one’s heart, so much progress can be made . He was led to grace our city with gifts in all realms. Yes, San Antonio is a better place because of his efforts.
