If the carriage rides are stopped, most, if not all, the horses will have to be put down as the owners will not be able to maintain them. My family and I hope we will be able to continue to enjoy the unique experience of a horse-drawn carriage ride when we go downtown. Converting the carriages to electric or other powered systems would not be the same.Congressman Tony Gonzales’ commentary was an infomercial for himself posing as a column.
