“Spurs aim for games in Austin next two seasons,”Here’s a solution to the Spurs playing in Austin. Why not play these games during the month they are away during their annual road trip?Respectfully, I am not in favor of revising or updating text in classic books and other writings in an effort to popularize them for today’s market.
Those documents became “classics” because they were written by talented authors in their time and circumstances. I believe those authors chose the language they used carefully and purposefully. Simply substituting words or phrases in classic literature will only render that literature non-classic. There is no guarantee these bastardized documents will become popular in today’s market, let alone new classics. As pointed out in the referenced article, some changes may well have unintended, and potentially undesired, consequences. So, I fear the people “updating” some of the writings will be disappointed in their hope of squeezing more profit from them.
