Letter: 'Even the questions asked by the judiciary committee seem ridiculous.'

Considering that the executive branch nominates the judge, and the legislative branch confirms the appointment. Then you, supposedly, have a Supreme Court justice that is installed to fairly interpret the Constitution.

Why aren’t there a set of questions that must always be asked and answered honestly. See the answers of Amy Coney Berrett for example. The League of Women Voters has a list of three good ones . Jamelle Bouie had a good article, recently published in The Tribune, that has similar observations.
