Bronson is good for Anchorage; let’s give him a second term.

Mayor Dave Bronson is doing a good job in the face of endless opposition. He has had to work with an Assembly that has no desire to work with him. Frequently, the Assembly members oppose him just because they can, regardless of what is best for the city.

In this election cycle, Bronson has been the target of a well-funded, well-organized campaign of negativism. Don’t let outside money decide his re-election. Bronson has done the job within budget and on schedule. He has earned our respect and vote for a second term. Now, of all things, one of his challengers has criticized his military background. Surely, you remember we have had military veterans at the port, airport, mayor’s office and as governor. Yes, Tony Knowles is a veteran.

Finally, it is difficult to complete many projects and promises in three years. Vote Dave Bronson for mayor on your ballot, and return it before April 2.to submit via any web browser. Letters under 200 words have the best chance of being published. Writers should disclose any personal or professional connections with the subjects of their letters. Letters are edited for accuracy, clarity and length.
