The man from Hanover Park requires much-needed contributions to make the lunch a success. But more than that, he needs Capetonians from all walks of life to come out in their numbers to spend some meaningful time with the people who have become invisible to us for most of the year. Bryan added: ‘It’s not just about the food. It’s about the sitting down and having communion with these people as we allow them to tell their stories. We allow them the opportunity to let us know that they are human and we show them our humanity.’
