Maseru - If it is established that Lesotho Prime Minister Thomas Thabane is trying to flee justice, then the police will issue an arrest warrant, the country's deputy police commissioner said on Friday.
The officer was speaking after Thabane failed to appear in court in connection with the killing of his first wife. Thabane was due in court at 9 a.m. over the death of Lipolelo Thabane, who was shot dead in June 2017 near her home in the capital Maseru two days before he took office.Police said on Thursday that Thabane was to be charged with Lipolelo's murder.
