Lesotho is debating a motion to reclaim the Free State Province, and other parts of South Africa, as part of the Lesotho Kingdom.

The motion is based on a 1962 United Nations resolution, which recognised the right to self-determination and independence.

Lipholo says he is waiting to hear whether there can be counter-evidence from what he has presented. He argued from three points, historical perspective, political and legal evidence.SABC’s Rapelang Radebe gives a historical background:
