Lesedi FM's Nkunyana taken off air after GBV 'joke,' not showing remorse for arrest
After almost three months of not being on air, Lesedi FM presenter Nkunyana Nkunyana was welcomed back by his fans and listeners with joy last weekend.
However, his joy about being back on air was short-lived, as listeners might have to deal with not hearing him anymore – for good this time. Another one went as far as saying the presenter’s contract was terminated with immediate effect without a disciplinary hearing following comments he made with the station’s news reader, Tsietsi Mohoalali.It is said that some male presenters were not happy when he joked with Tsietsi on Saturday and Sunday ... about the GBV issue, because people called Dj Sofa. The name comes from the incident he had with his wife.
