SEPANG: Sejumlah wang tunai mata wang ringgit dan dolar Singapura bernilai lebih RM600,000 yang cuba dibawa keluar dari negara ini tanpa ikrar berjaya digagalkan pada 13 Jun lalu.

Penolong Ketua Pengarah Kastam Zon Tengah, Norlela Ismail berkata, lelaki itu ditahan Pasukan Operasi Bahagian Penguatkuasan Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia Zon Tengah dengan kerjasama pasukan Aviation Security . Katanya, siasatan dijalankan mengikut Seksyen Seksyen 28B Akta Pencegahan Pengubahan Wang Haram, Pencegahan Pembiayaan Keganasan dan Hasil daripada Aktiviti Haram 2001 kerana lelaki itu tidak membuat pengikraran ke atas amaun tunai yang hendak dibawa keluar dari Malaysia.Menurutnya, pengembara yang ingin membawa keluar sejumlah besar wang tunai dan instrumen boleh niaga perlu mengikrarkan menggunakan Borang Kastam No 7.
