Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has broken down in tears in an impassioned speech about racism and how it has affected her music career.

The singer then revealed how she felt “for the first time in my life” that “racism is the topic of conversation”. After taking a deep breath, she explained: “When we were filming Wings, we worked with Frank Gatson. He said to me: ‘You’re the black girl, you have to work ten times harder.’
She added: “You learn that when you walk into a room you are deemed unapproachable or offish before anyone has even approached you.
