Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers hailed Jamie Vardy's "phenomenal achievement" after the striker scored his 100th Premier League goal in their 3-0 home victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
"It's a phenomenal achievement to come into the Premier League at such a late stage, and be so prolific, in such a short space of time. It's a privilege to work with such a top striker," Rodgers told reporters. Vardy had been stuck on 99 goals since netting twice in Leicester's 4-0 home win over Aston Villa in March before the coronavirus stoppage.
