Daniel Farke faced the media at Thorp Arch on Tuesday afternoon as he looked ahead to the Championship clash between Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday night. The manager spoke for a little over 20 minutes at the training ground and here are the headlines from what we learned.Sam Byram was dismissed as an option for three matches in six days when Leeds played Millwall and Watford either side of Hull City last month, but Farke was not so quick to write the full-back off today.
“This turnaround is a bit easier than last time,” he said. “It was three games within six days and then there were just two days between the games. “They have, in general, a much better squad than their position shows at the moment,” he said. “It's also about periods in this league. There are no major concerns behind the scenes about this blip for Dallas. These things will happen as he pushes his body forward.While the season is not even 25 per cent complete yet, it has been hard to ignore the progress being made by Leicester City and Ipswich Town at the top of the league. The fear had always been the Foxes would play to the level their squad shows on paper and Enzo Maresca has made that a reality in the opening nine games.
