The upcoming special is the latest in a long-running string of Lego Marvel animated shorts, which started in 2013 with the 5-episode TV series “Lego Marvel Superheroes: Maximum Overload.” Since then, they’ve only released standalone 20-minute animated shorts: 2015’s ‘”Avengers Ressembled,” 2017’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” and 2018’s “Black Panther – Trouble in Wakanda.
