We asked Leeds United supporters to pick what they think is now the best XI after the transfer window, once everyone is fit
Leeds United may have avoided a last-minute flurry of transfer activity in the final 48 hours of the window, a Luis Sinisterra deal aside, but the timing of recent arrivals coupled with an international break has meant getting a proper sight of the new faces on the pitch is still to happen.
Once the international games finish this evening, Daniel Farke will be happy to have his whole squad together as he prepares for a crucial run of tough games while also making his own judgement on what will be the strongest XI he can field. For Leeds supporters, that decision is sure to change as the season progresses and the new arrivals get an opportunity to convince one way or another.
New recruit Sam Byram is picked to fill the left-back role after impressing so far this campaign before his injury, with that back four sat in front of Illan Meslier in goal. In attack, Joel Piroe is unsurprisingly picked to play through the middle, with club record signing Georginio Rutter and Italy international Wilfried Gnonto occupying the wide roles as they did last time out.
