West Ham United have reportedly reached out to Leeds United with an enquiry about Crysencio Summerville's asking price and baulked at the answer
Interest in Crysencio Summerville will come as no surprise to anyone associated with Leeds United. West Ham United are the latest club to be linked with an enquiry about the Dutch winger and, as with all the other interest up to now, there has been no progress towards a transfer.
Their reports suggest the Hammers were quoted a price for Summerville that was too rich for their taste, as it stands. The 22-year-old is currently in Germany with the Whites on their pre-season training camp and there has been no movement to suggest he is departing to prepare for further bids. Leeds remain confident in their stance on the Championship’s Player of the Season. Their current profitability and sustainability projections are not ringing any alarm bells and they will do business on their terms, especially with a starlet like Summerville.
