Leeds United were left cursing another injury blow after defender Sam Byram was forced off during a breathless opening half at Ipswich Town.
A second goal for the visitors soon followed, when the returning Wilfried Gnonto converted a Byram cross, with new signing Joel Piroe opening his Whites account five minutes later to give Leeds a 3-1 lead before the 20-minute mark. Already carrying a lengthy injury list so far this season, Leeds can ill-afford another issue at the back. Junior Firpo is currently sidelined, with little depth in the left-back position. Summer signing Byram has struggled with injuries in recent years, but this could be an area Leeds look to target before next week's transfer deadline day.
